First off this game is not terrible but the only problem I see is the utterly abysmal control scheme. I think there should be more simplistic controls like 1 button to jump, dodge and attack. Overall I give the game 7/10.

I could not be more excited for DS3 but this game isnt fun if you want to learn from death on mobile try "downfall"

Dont waste your time. Theres nothing positive to say about this time waster. And thats exactly what it is: a waste of time. Steer away from this. Youll be glad you did.

I never review things, but good god this game is awful. I mean, the concept is great in theory, but these are the worst, most unresponsive controls Ive ever seen, and Im not even over exaggerating. Dont download.

I like how the game looks (although the music is a little annoying). However, the terrible controls makes this game unplayable.

This game is a great idea but I think they should add a chest system or money system where you buy different armor, weapons, or even items to help you along your run.

Thats when the real Dark Souls game comes out. But this game is a fun AF time waster and surprisingly addicting kind of like illegal amphetamines or my YouTube channel Nerd Party. If youre looking for a better time than a lie detector conversation with George Bush, youll find it here.

Not enough variety for bosses and items (specifically weapons), but other than that this is my favorite app by far

So this is a promotional app for Dark souls 3? You are then saying that its going to be released in a bad state with spotty controls? Why would this game make me want to preorder? If you released this game like this I definitely dont want to buy Dark Souls 3. How could this game pass any quality assurance? Theres nothing wrong with an auto runner game. Theres just nothing to this one. Nothing to make you want to keep playing. Nothing to attain. No type of upgrades. Nothing to unlock. Just nothing. This game could have been so much better in everyway. It appears to have been made by amateurs who just didnt even care. This is how you promote Dark Souls 3? Just rename the game to Slashy Fail.

This game is a horrible rip off of dark souls. There is no control run down. Your character never a stops moving. Dont download this game!

The core concept is solid, but the actual gameplay gets pretty frustrating. Quick deaths, faulty timing and hitboxes, and finicky controls effectively reduce replay value. Go through about 30 seconds of it, and youve essentially experienced the whole game.

First off, to the other three reviews dont listen to them. Its a runner game and its a dark souls spoof created by producers of Dark Souls and GameStop. That said it is what it is a comical runner that makes true soul players a smile and that "aaahhhhhh" warm familiar feeling. To the review that complains about you cant stop running, its true you dont stop running but you can backroll. My personal opinion it needs a health bar. With that tiny exception its a great fun time waster. I do a run while waiting to be summoned in Dark souls 3. Yes its very frustrating because its not perfect. Yes it is ridiculously hard. But is that not what Dark souls is all about? Also I love the badges. Its fun to get unlockables. Thank you GameStop and Bandai. Give me a health bar and you have your Fifth star.

I really thought this was a great game. Adding the runner type games mixed with the dark souls feel made it a fun experience. Could use some tweaks such as re calibrating the controls (sometimes not very responsive) and maybe adding a health bar and more items to grab in the run. Great and fun mini game otherwise. Loved it the entire time.

As a Dark Souls fan, Im happy to have the chance to play something that reminds me of the awesomeness of this piece of gem. The graphics and the animation is not perfect but its still ok. Background music and sound effects are cool and the progressive difficulty, new weapons, boss fights, and deadly obstacles are nicely done. Although the lack of an upgrade system makes it repetitive after a while, I give it 5 stars because there is no IAPs and its completely free.

Definitely a fun dark souls spoof. Like others mentioned, I would love to see a health bar added, as well as a place where I can view the badges I need to unlock. An expanded leaderboards would be nice also. Hoping for a couple updates!
